Prasidh comes in for Mavi, who has a few niggles. For KXIP Cottrell has a few
niggles so Jordan comes in.

Gill and Tripathi are ready to roll as Mohammad

attack. At the last ball Dinesh Karthik is run out!! Putting up a total of 164-6
for KXIP to chase.

The second
innings commence, Rahul and Agarwal are at the crease and Cummins will open
the bowling.
KKR starts off strong with a good bowling attack
only giving 8 runs off the first two overs. The required run rate for KXIP is
8.72.
Turn around for KXIP with 47-0 at the end of the
powerplay.
KXIP need 118 runs in 84 balls.
Once again KL Rahul hits another half century with a
four.
Mayank Agarwal also hits a half century in 33 balls.
Brilliant inning from both the players.
KKR wish for a wicket was met by Prasidh Krishna and
an easy catch was caught by Shubman Gill. Mayank Agarwal was sent back at
56bruns in 39 balls.
Nicholas Pooran comes on the strike in a wonderful
form and ends the over with a cracking six.
OFF SPIN ball by Sunil Narine and a wrong hit by
Nicholas pooran and wicket. Nicholas Pooran out at 16 on 10 balls.

A very tough time for Punjab,
Maxwell and Mandeep singh are now at the crease.
Last over of the match, KXIP needs 12 from 5 balls
now. A couple runs was scored by
Maxwell. But Narine pulls back well with Mandeep’s wicket. With six needed to
tie the game, at the last ball , Maxwell strikes for a six but the ball lands
just short of the ropes and pulls a four. A very close call for KXIP. KKR moves up to the third position.
