RR VS DC

The 23rd match started with Rajasthan Royals winning the toss and choosing to bowl. BUCKLE UP GUYS!! Remember we are in Sharjah so brace yourselves to be a witness to a shower of boundaries.

Shaw and Dhawan walk in. Varun Aaron is on the attack.

Delhi remains unchanged. Varun Aaron and Andrew Tye enter the playing 11 for RR.

Dhawan goes back very very early giving a catch straight in the hands of Jaiswal. As usual, archer strikes. Shreyas Iyer, right handed batsman comes to the crease.

Archer is unstoppable. No batsman can comfortably play in front of Archer. Shaw will have to go back, gets caught and bowled.

Rishab Pant comes on to accompany Iyer on the field.  

A big loss for Delhi at 5.5 with Captain, Shreyas Iyer run out. A direct hit by Yashasvi

Marcus Stoinis, comes to the crease.                  

The power play comes to an end and DC is at 51-3

Back to back sixes by Stoinis in the 7th over.

The 10th over and Rishab Pant is out at the second ball. Another run out, 5 off 9 for Pant. Shimron Hetmyer, replaces him.  DC 79(4)

Stoinis was batting well and he is caught by Smith as Rahul Tewatia attacks. Harshal Patel comes in.

Score after 15 overs, DC 122 -5

Tewatia delivers the most economical figures this season at Sharjah.

Hetmyer on FIRE!! With a strike rate of 196 two back to back sixes on Kartik Tyagi. Last ball of the over and Hetmyer attempts another six but sadly he is OUT, a wonderful catch by Rahul Tewatia.

Axar Patel, comes to the crease with Jofra Archer back into attack. DC at 159-6 after 18 overs.

Both Patel’s are on the crease, let’s see if they can save Delhi Ca-patel.

Tye scores 50 after Axar Patel Hits a four! Tye ends his spell with a wicket, Axar caught out after scoring 17 runs off 8 balls.

Rabada comes to the crease and Archer is back into attack for the last over of the innings.

Harshar Patel also walks out, caught out by Rahul Tewatia, third wicket for Archer.

Good effort from Royals bowlers. Delhi Capitals ended trhe innings at 184-8, the lowest for any match played at Sharjah.

Second Innings, commence Jaiswal and Butler are at the crease, Jaiswal is on strike. Rabada opens the attack for DC.

Ravichandran Ashwin comes into attack in the second over and takes the first wicket.  A big loss for RR as Butler walks out after the ball finds a well placed fielder. A Sharp catch from Dhawan. Steven Smith steps on the crease.

After the first power play the score is at 41-1. Required run rate for RR is 10.44.

In the 8th over, Anrich Nortje strikes as Smith is out with a wonderful catch by Hetmyer.

Sanju Samson, right handed batsman comes to the crease. Big expectations from him. RR 56-2

Samson however does not deliver, caught out by Hetmyer. Another single-digit score for him. One wicket under Stoinis’s belt.

Mahipal Lomror comes on accompany Jaiswal on the field.

Rajasthan needs 110 runs in 54 balls. With their Current run rate being 6.81, RR need to perform better to win this match.

Ashwin is back for his final over and another one bites the dust, Lomror is out, Caught by Axar. Rahul Tewatia comes to the field.

Its back to back wickets for Delhi Capitals, Jaiswal is out, Bowled by Stoinis. The day started well for him but ended not so well. He’s been dismissed for 34 off 36. Andrew Tye replaces him.

RR needs 103 runs in 46 balls.

DC is UNSTOPABBLE!! Another wicket, Axar Patel Strikes. Andrew Tye falls, Caught by Rabada.

Jofra Archer comes back to the crease but this time to bat.

Rajasthan needs 94 runs in 36 balls. CRR is 6.5.

Rajasthan suffers another loss as Rabada strikes with a crackling delivery and takes out Jofra Archer. Shreyas Gopal comes to the crease.

Royals need a miracle from Tewatia as they need 78 runs in 23 balls.

At 17.2 Shreyas Gopal is out, Caught by none other than Hetmyer. First wicket for Harshal Patel today. Kartik Tyagi comes to the crease.

Last over and RR has lost, they need 49 runs in 6 balls. Rabada is back onto attack and Tewatia is OUT!!! Bowled.

Rabada takes the last wicket, Aaron is OUT!! At 19.4

 Delhi Capitals has won the match by 46 runs.

  KXIP VS SRH   Today’s Match of Kings 11 Punjab and Sun Risers Hyderabad, Started with SRH winning the toss and choosing to bat. Both teams have made changes to their line up, let’s see in whose favor the line up works. Captain David Warner and Jonny Bairstow stepped on the field to start the innings, with Sheldon Cottrell opening the attack. Sun Risers had a great start with 13 runs from the first over. At the end of the batting power play SRH was at 58(0) with Cottrell proving to be the most expensive, giving 28 runs in only 2 overs. Ravi Bishnoi’s first over and KXIP 8 th over proved to be very expensive with 3 boundaries (2 sixes and 1 four) and SRH’s score standing at 82(0) At 9.3 overs, Bairstow completed his 3 rd half century of the season from 28 balls.
